Operation:
With the paperpot machine it is possible to produce paperpots using soil and adhesive fleece. The loose/cohesive cutting soil is fed through the filling hopper equipped with a driven agitator. The agitator ensures a consistent feed to the venturi. The adhesive fleece is unwound via a roll and guide roll and folded into a tube through a folding unit. At the top side, the seam is bonded together using a heating element. In this way, an endless “sausage” with the desired diameter is created. At the same time, the cutting soil is supplied by compressed air through a venturi. This so-called “sausage” is fed through prickers and cut to the required length by a high-speed self-sharpening knife.
