The Big-Bag turner is a unit for tilting Big-Bags to supply, for example, potting soil to a potting soil processing machine.

Operation:

The Big-Bag tilter consists of a main frame with a universal tilting unit incorporated in it. The pallet, including the Big-Bag with product, is placed in the tilting unit using a pallet truck or a forklift truck. The loops of the Big-Bag are then attached to the frame on special adjustable brackets. By an electric motor with hydraulic pump and cylinder, the unit with Big-Bag can be tilted using a switch. The switch makes it possible to position the Big-Bag at any desired tipping point.

The tilting unit is also equipped with adjustable funnel plates for optimum dosing in a potting soil processing machine e.g. a potting machine. When the Big-Bag is empty, it can be tilted back to the starting position with the switch, in order to place a new pallet with Big-Bag in the tilting unit.
