This safety switch is installed in the door of the drill unit and serves as a safety device. As soon as the door is opened, the machine shuts down immediately. This is essential because the drill unit contains several hazardous rotating parts.
A properly functioning safety switch is required to comply with CE regulations. If the switch is not working, the machine must not be operated.
